Our goal is to come alongside writers and to support them by means of thorough, plain-language teaching edits, one-on-one detailed discussions, workshops, and exercises designed specifically for the writer. No matter the writer’s skill level, we can work together to achieve a new level of writing excellence and professionalism.
Teresa Crumpton –
Editor
Since 1996, Teresa Crumpton has been a developmental and teaching editor. She has an MFA in Writing and works with writers at every level of experience. Teresa offers creative, compassionate no-nonsense coaching, one-on-one, as well as group workshops and seminars. She has published newspaper and magazine articles, short fiction, and nonfiction books.

Jonathan Ammon –
Editor
Jonathan is an author, co-author, and contributor to several other books. He was the 2010 recipient of the Clair Garber Memorial Creative Writing Award, the Carrol Grimes Award for Writing in the Humanities, and the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown Humanities Creative Prose Award. These were awarded in the categories of Poetry, Critical Essay, and Short Fiction. Jonathan holds a BA in Creative Writing and Literature from University of Pittsburgh, PA and has taught English as a Second Language for many years.

Carmen Barber –
Publishing Specalist
Carmen is our Publication Specialist here at AuthorSpark. She brings her formatting, proofreading, and administrative skills to our team. She loves doing the behind the scenes tasks that allows writers and editors to concentrate on their work. Her passion is to use the formatting process to take words crafted by authors and bring them to life for readers to enjoy. Carmen lives in Colorado with her family. In her spare time she enjoys reading, knitting, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family.

Catie Barber –
Project Manager
Catie is our Project Manager here at AuthorSpark. She brings organization, management, and business knowledge to our team. She loves helping keep the team on track as we help authors around the world reach their writing goals, and working on our web-based content. Catie lives in Colorado with her family. She also works in the Zoo and Aquarium industry and has a passion for Animal Behavior and connecting people with the natural world.

Katie Waters –
Organization Specialist
Katie is our Organization Specialist here at AuthorSpark. She is a Colorado native who loves to spend time outdoors. She has received her college education in psychological studies at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. In September of 2019 she got engaged to be married to the man of her dreams. The wedding will take place in October of 2020 and she couldn’t be happier. As an organization specialist she understands the importance of having things in order so they are easily found. It is her mission to do all things with great love and intends to do so in her role at AuthorSpark. katie@authorspark.org
